The most outstanding thing about the club is that up until 2003 when Roman Abramovich a certain Russian billionaire bought Chelsea and pumped a lot of cash into the club, they had no trophy cabinet (I think so, it's only logical to be honest) because they was really no need for one since all the trophies the club had won prior to Roman's era could be easily packed in a nylon bag...
Without the huge investment of Roman, Chelsea would have at best be on the level of Southampton...
It's important that you know your club's history just so you know your level. Abramovich doesn't buy Chelsea and we have all this Chelsea fans as proud Arsenal fans...
