As posted on facebook by one Ekoyo Godwin: suspected fulani herdsmen have butchered a farmer in his farmland in Izzi local government of Ebonyi state. The Izzi people, in recent past, gave the fulani community a large ecpanse of land to settle down in the locality and the host community has known no peace since then. Tragic events and tolls of unreported massacres are going on in different parts of Ebonyi state and the state Government seems to be incapacitated and completely oberwhelmed by the situation. This is a call on Ebonyi state government to rise up to the occasion and tame this ugly trend before it escalates futher. Cc: lalasticlala
