Lagos disassociates from vehicle Reg, number plates processing fee increment speculation

Contrary to speculation that Lagos State Government would also be hiking processing fee of motor vehicle particulars and that of number plates just as it introduced new Land Use Charge, the state government has disclosed that it has no plane to increase cost of motor documentation as claimed by unverified report.

Juts as it disassociated from rumors of increase in the cost of processing motor vehicle particulars and application for number plates, saying the rates remain the same across the State.

Through a statement issued by the State’s Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Kehinde Bamigbetan, it said that the clarification became necessary in response to enquiries by members of public who were genuinely concerned about on increases in charges relating to motor vehicle administration.

Bloody liars! They saw that the news of their nefarious plans leaked, so they decided to postpone the increase. I dare them to go ahead with the increase, and see how Nigerians shuttle en masse to Ogun state next door, to register their vehicles without stress!
