Buy a universal modem, supports all sims and cost just 3.5k

My MTN modem is not recognised by my laptop though the Sim card if fine. Any advise/pointers on what could be I've problem and possible solution

Uninstall the modem software from your computer, then re-install it.

i have the same issue and ive uninstalled and rebooted my system many times,still not working...any other thing? i see some errors in device manager though
