piagetskinner:Who are the politicians, are they not Nigerians. The simple truth is that Nigerians are a bad people, and bad people give rise to bad leaders. Or are u trying to say its only the few bad Nigerians that end up being elected into public offices. while the majority who are good don't. The reason most Nigerians haven't stolen billions from government coffers is simply lack of opportunity. |

Money is every where and easy to make. All U need is determination, persistence and information. Money could be in your presence but you wouldn't know if you don't have the information. |

industriousness give it to Igbo... my Yoruba neighbours will rather be in her aged parents house eating free ewedu and amara than to hustle while Hausa/Fulani girls will prefer early marriage |

Hawking rice by a graduate? ![]() That's just too low. School drop outs, illiterates hawk rice around my office area and carry it the way she does. They even go to office and sell rice, beans, fried plantain, spaghetti to workers in the office. Some even bring in Amaka, fufu, with different soups and assorted meats. And after serving u on your desk, they will ask if u care for mineral or bottle water. If u say yes? Off they go quickly to buy and give to u. Then pay her immediately. So what's here to commend about? A graduate who is suppose to think outside the box and create great ideas in higher level, than Hawking rice. Anyways may God bless her hustles. At least it's better than olosho work. |

People should stop overrating graduates. Being a graduate is usesless if you are unproductive and carrying files around looking for job. |

And a graduate, after wasting 4+ years goes back to hawking food on the street and we call that an achievement, to me,that is a pure waste of time, effort, resources and energy, I make bold to say this any time, any day, going through a formal education channel should have an influence on the way we think and do things, I cant see her doing anything different from what someone that did not have an opportunity of going through school is doing, She should have come up with a better and more refined way of doing a food business, not just cooking and carrying it about to sell,we should stop promoting mediocrity, and as long as she is doing this, let her drop the line of calling her self a graduate,at least for now I have personally involved in some huzzles in life, but anytime I find my self engaging in certain stuffs to make ends meet, I always drop this line of being a graduate, I don't even discuss my educational standing, if I see my self doing the same thing, the same way a person that did not have a formal education like me is doing, how should I be proud flaunting my qualification |

I wish there was was something better for her to do than hawking food. Seriously speaking, how many of you ladies here will hawk food or get dirty with charcoal? And how many guys here will sell pop corn or fry pofpof by the roadside after graduating from the University?
