No blame dem...I expected tstv by now to tell Nigerians what happened to them that their system was hacked by hackers immediately after their launching

I gave up on tstv after the november 1 postponement, that's when i knew they are not a serious company. This is the same company that boasted about starting sales before christmas, later shifted to before the end of the year. This is what happens when you build on lies and total disregard for legit questions, if you really want to watch cable tv, you can get kwese, startimes, gotv or dstv. Look at how kwese tv is going about their business quietly, yesterday i was reading a sport business news and i read that they just acquired french league rights for 6 seasons just look at that, in six months they have gotten copa del rey, carrabao cup, brazil league, world cup rights, euro nations league cup whereas our own tstv keeps behaving like fraudulent company sigh

Competition is good, but too much competition is not good for consumers when it comes to paytv. What do I mean? Lets say DSTV gets EPL rights, Kwese gets Champions league and fa cup, Startimes get La liga. Then it means consumers that wants to watch all these games will have to get the 3 decoders, 3 subscriptions, at the end of the day it becomes more expensive than when just 1 company gets all the rights. Also not good for viewing centers. I remember when Hitv had champions league right while DSTV had EPL, I had to get the 2 decoders.

You are absolutely right. This is the disadvantage of pay tv competition. Recently BT sport and sky sport agreed to share content, that is is you are a subscriber of sky sport you can watch BT sport content vice versa that means you don't have to buy both decoders but i don't think dstv can agree to that type of deal cos they have more to lose. Even kwese tv has that kind of deal with canal + but i doubt it includes premeir league. The day dstv loses any of premier league, champions league or spanish league then maybe that deal might happen here

The decoder plus installation is 10960 and subscription is for 3 days, 7 days and a month, can't remember the actual figure but a month is about 6k. You can visit their site to get more info www.kwese.com

This is where u are wrong, do u think people will just prefer to pay the premium fees DSTV is collecting for the compact plus and premium bouquet? Hell no. But the thing is they deliver. TSTV promised what they cannot offer and it was very obvious their promises cannot be met but majority of Nigerians chose to believe them like they blindly supported Buhari just to kick out Jonathan (same way u people are supporting TSTV just to kick out DSTV). Its just like someone who sees cloud appear in the sky and going to pour away the little water he has in his pot hoping the rain will fall and he can refill the pot. At the end rain no come fall.. so who lose? There's no pay TV in Nigeria with half the content dstv has (even without the sports). If TSTV put their Sh*t together we go support them.. why not.

The truth is really absent in this country. My argument was clear, and it was that TSTV was biting more than they could chew. I advised people who had dumped their DSTV subscription to pay again, as the so-called TSTV really had more words to offer than action. Today I have been vindicated and my words still glaring on this media.

DStv have lots of exclusives. But it's a matter of personal preference. Buy whatever rocks ur boat. I just feel KWESE should have more flexible packages. The fixed 6k per month is a no no for some people. DStv have packages for 1,900 and 3,800 with good content.

U are sentimental... I get it. But why hate them with a passion? That they collect money and don't deliver? Or just because its a foreign owned company.

Lol.

You were called names for being unnecessarily antagonistic and vocal, invested in discrediting a business you had no stake in for no apparent reason other than

You still cannot justify your shilling and voltroning by any means.

Incidentally the same TSTV you have been bad mouthing so energetically have been on air as FTA since November 1.

The facts are the facts.

Besides, as many people pointed out to you, its not your place to tell others how to spend their own money

You aren't demonstrably smarter than anyone else you have been pontificating to

The Nigerian movie industry is undoubtedly fast evolving. Records are being set and broken by our filmmakers, stories and technical aspects are becoming better with each passing day, and exportation of content is revolutionized. It is definitely a good era for the Nigerian movie industry.

However, with all these improvements, one area that remains poor is that of database collection. Most of the leading movie industries in the world are known for their adequate building of a comprehensive movie database. The importance of a movie database cannot be overemphasized, it is an interactive platform where information relating to movies is uploaded; ranging from reviews to cast and crew down to news about upcoming movies. This is a problem with our movie industry, more work needs to be put into building an active and collective online movie database.

That’s where we at Scrolls are seeking to improve. SCROLLS is an upcoming online movie database looking at developing a standard interactive platform where information regarding movies can be uploaded and shared online. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about the movie industry, who can write decent reviews and create contents. Send us an email if you feel you are the person we need to spark a change in the Nigerian movie industry.

You can reach us on the following email address dayo@scrolls.com.ng or emeka@scrolls.com.ng

Exactly what came to my mind too when I saw the poster from their page. They also sent me a message too. Well, let's see how it goes, but I'm not fully giving them that much expectation, having been disappointed severally before.
