Chukazu:
My question has always been: if another President from the South appoints service chiefs and excludes the Hausa Fulani from the post completely, would someone still come and make such useless statement?

Because I know the uproar and anger that greeted the appointment of Azubuike Ihejirika by Jonathan from the Fulani ...and that was just one appointment
you can imagine

thewatcher2020:
Jonathan... can you see what your mates are doing with government power? You had the power but you allowed some people to bully and boss you about till you got kicked out like a kid!

At this point I really don’t care what Buhari does with power any longer. Lol, federal character shall soon be set aside in its entirety provided the North are gaining the upper hand... just imagine the nonsense this man is spewing? Shaking my head for Southern Nigeria.
that was a scaredy cat, if he played his cards right, fulani wud have smelt their aszz by now

Double standard. Can you just hear the thrash coming from a Chief Equity Enforcer of the federation.
If federal character principle is not required in the appointments of the service chiefs, then the purpose for which Federal Character Commission was created has long been defeated.

U must b drunk. Was it not d muslim northerners dat warned d implementation of d outcome of d National Conference organised by President Jonathan on d excuse dat d north was not fully represented at d conference? Shut ur fucking mouth cos we r not fools!

how can he talk like this!! nonesence. he should be able to quote a law or a Fed Character Policy that allows that.

When we need the best brains to move the country forward in govt agencies or ministries or in education federal character must be observed.

As someone said almost 60 years on; Fed Character how has it helped if not it should be scrapped if yes keep it

Lol.

So you wanted Jona_daft to make Fulani "smell their aszz" when he was in power, what do you think the Fulani would wish for you in return, now that they have the cards?

Think before you talk.

Let this bigoted govt under APC buhari keep up with their ethnic tribalism and bigotry. One day the tables will turn and they will wish they were not Nigerians.

Nigerians should bookmark and screenshot this thread for future use.

Says the man whose probable sole claim to office is Federal Character! angry

They should do and be going please. My fear is that this stupidity they started will outlast them, and others may use it as justification for their appointments in future. Silly people everywhere.

And now that he succeeded in handing the securing of lives and property of all the ethnic groups in the hands of his kinsmen what has become of Nigerians? Insecurity has been on the increase, terrorism has become a new normal to the extent that terrorist are now kidnapping girls and returning them at will. If Muhammad buhari does not trust other ethnic groups of this country to handle some of the security position then I can say he is not fit to be the president and commander in chief of the armed forces. Infact I suspect he has an agenda geard towards ethnic domination.

Nigeria is in dare stress...courtsey of the satan worshipper, Lugard who merged the north and the south...

The question is...can a southern president do the same when powe shifts to the south?

Even if he has the courage to do the same, how would Nigeria contain the menance of BH, Fulani herdsmen and other terro groups that would emerge...who would now see that the north are stripped over everything and intensify their killings?

At this point the northern elites would see reason..and secretly support their activities...It could be the end of Nigeria...

Nigeria is the worse for it, no matter how you look at it...

Re: Federal Character Not Requirement For Service Chiefs’ Appointment, Says FCC by eodavids(m): 12:29pm On Mar 23, 2018
Bukar, I want to understand your statement to mean that Federal character is not necessary in appointing service chiefs both in pre-Buhari era and in post-Buhari era.

It follows therefore that the Jonathan government made a mistake in balancing the appointment. That mistakes was made by Obasanjo, Yar'adua and others in the past.

It also implies that in the future, presidents should just appoint service chiefs any how they are pleased. Even if they all come from one state.

Lastly, it also mean that if all the service chiefs are selected from southern Nigeria with none selected from northern Nigeria, its still a perfect appointment.

If all the above which are all construable from the statement of Mr. Bukar are valid deductions, then its OK. When the table turns, Mr Bukar should also speak that way, even when northerners are not represented.

These fools belong to Arewa and not to Biafra or Oduduwa (even though Oduduwa leaders romance with them).

Imagine

Buhari himself is a PRODUCT of national character/zoning...Is he not, for the last 12 years running to be “president”....

Referendum we stand

I have no problem with all the Federal appointment coming from Daura. I just hope they will remember that being in government is like enjoying the breeze from a rotating standing fan, when it's facing your side, you think it will never end. I hope they remember this statement when all the Federal appointment will some day come from only Ijebu Ode, or Nnewi or Lokoja.

Dr Shettima Abba is from the region enjoying the lopsided appointments, why am I not surprised? He should have said federal character is not required because Buhari's govt is a govt of the North by the North for the North.
Instead of u to counter his statement you are here talking rubish, let me tell u,in nigeria d worst tribal bigot is an igbo man.
