i don't own the phone, and I'm not trying to counter your statement, I just need an exposition on how S picture can both be over saturated and washed out at the same time, or I just assume you're just typing words you don't know what they mean

In a short time the pictures you'd capture will become blurry. I used an infinix, initially selfies were superb, a year later I began to question if someone adjusted my camera settings as the picture no longer looked sharp.
I also use a Sony, the picture quality is still fabulous.

Actually i don't understand comparing these two brands you didn't even mention the type you are going for...

I have a colleague and a friend who use tecno spark k7 and their camera can't stand my infinix note 4. Tecno spark isn't even sharp outdoors. Camera sharpness relies on models.

It's unwise for me to compare both phones as they are products of the same company. Tecno cameras lose quality over time. Infinix still retain theirs.

Tecno,Infinix and Itel are the same phone with different names.
