I think it's a fair question. Not many of us would take this job if it paid minimum wage. As much as we should be concerned with creating a better country (which is a point that needs to be reiterated), we should not pretend that this isn't about money also. If you have an idea of the range, it'll help inform some people who are on the fence trying to decide if this is a right fit for them. Some might even be thinking of starting a business and this info might provide the extra piece to nudge their decisions. I don't feel the need to know exactly how much would be paid. It'll help to know the range of expectancy though.

Well said. The pay is a great one, whatever difficulty you're going through or will go through to get the job is worth it. But then, there's a reason why the pay isn't publicised, so much you will know when you join the commission.
