Gombe state governor, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo has taken to his Twitter account to condemn viral on going event, Big Brother Naija, says it distracts Nigerian Youths from National development.

He wrote:
"Praying for Big Brother Nigeria to come to an end so our young people begin to focus on important things like rescuing their country. I know some politicians will want Big Brother to be a daily thing all year round so our youths can remain distracted. Go and get your #PVC."


See the funny reply a user, @Chydee gave him:
"After #BBNaija ends, UCL finals is next. Then Worldcup in June/July. Then Summer grooves. Then Christmas/New Year activities. You see, we are fully booked. Mind your business Uncle.

As if Big Brother is the reason Nigeria is like this. Nonsense."

To an extent I think we deserve the kind of leaders we are getting. That person obviously do not vote and doesn't feel concerned about the state of the nation.

Don't forget those countries hosting the UCL final and FIFA world cup do not have as much problems as we have here.

I tell you that gov will not visit his handle till next year.
Honestly speaking it's better you come to my house and beat me than this kind of reply. it can cuz emotional trauma and breakdown, it can cuz the governor not to function well again in his office... in fact it'll affect is erection for the next 3 months and total lost of appetite.

When the governor was sending out that post he was expecting a completely different type of response but we are woke.

The governor is actually saying the truth, but such truth should not come from any Nigerian politician cos they put us where we are today

Silly nigerian youths will insult him. Tomorrow they will be whining about old leaders not giving them a chance to lead as if spending 80% of their time watching bbn is the best means of acquiring leadership skills. Dankwambo speak on!

Nigeria went to the dogs long before MNet even came into existence, even less Big Brother and the likes of Dankwambo put us there. The people at the helm of affairs are not doing their jobs, the people watching Big Brother Naija, probably even work harder, so, BBN is not the root of our problems in this country.

Let's be sincere, the governor spoke the truth. I don't see that guy's words as epic but a stupid and senseless reply. The reality show is bereft of knowledge hence only promote sex and laziness to Nigerian youths.

Though the governor should have mind his business. He is not fit to give such advice because him and his crooks has failed the country.
