Youths aren't even demanding for this contestant's blueprint before condemnation. All they see are his ethnicity, religion, and supposed lack of "experience".



Nigerian youths will rather stick with those who have great " experience " in looting and brigandage.

The older people who have been in power for half a century have refused to change the structure. You cannot change the structure of Nigerian without the Government. We have to get into Government to change the structure of Nigeria. I support Yele Sowore and other younger Nigerians who intend to run for office in 2019.

Those rushing to support Sowore, simply because of how terrible Buhari has been, are under the delusion that things can't get any worse no matter who takes over, but that is a very, very wrong assumption. Sowore's very lack of any political track record or stated beliefs means there are no guarantees as to what he will do if he ever wins power; as bad as Buhari is - and I think he's utterly useless on matters of economics - at least we could draw on Buhari's past to know what we were getting into, and indeed the last 3 years have offered no surprises on that score.

I am certain that there are plenty of other potential candidates out there who can offer both Sowore's "youth" and freshness on the scene, as well as delivering coherent, carefully thought out policy programs that show they've given serious thought to Nigeria's problems and how to solve them. All Sowore has to offer so far is meaningless blather about his "detribalized" and "cosmopolitan" personality.

The generation that knows Sowore are perhaps amongst your grandfather and because they are not on social media, the youth are spitting a man who left his confort zone in US to withstand the evil that have conquered us. Some of you should go and ask your mothers and fathers who attended University of Lagos. Let them educate you about Sowore. He probably dated some of your mothers who are now not on social media. Don't bother yourself. Nigerians haven't suffered enough. It disgusts me whenever I see my uncles discuss politics because they are rlthe ones who put themselves in this mess. The youths are about to make the same mistake which will be unending. Isn't it ridiculous that rather than the youths rally together to support the man with a proven track record of fighting for the rights of his fellow citizen, thwy resort to cheap ways of hiding behind keyboards and analysing his chances, continuing in the status quo.
What is more annoying is that if you look well enough, its mainly actually enlightened nigerians who have traveled out and seen better and know how civilized places function that campain for this guy. Meanwhile, the ignorant youths with hopeless futures keep supporting their oppressors.
