It should be like a form that visitors will fill, containing name,address,occupation, and a place where passport will be uploaded. I want to use it for an upcoming conference

First you need to enable registration in your wordpress website.

Then you need two plugins..

Ninja Form and

Membership pro

With the Ninja Form you design your registration form.

With the Membership Pro you enable user dashboard and other things you need.

You can achieve that with most of the forms plugin like Caldera forms plugin, Ninja forms, etc.
You can also make use of booking plugins... I recommend Checkfront Booking Plugin.
If you need help setting it up, then I can help you do a clean job... You'll drop small thing of course
