Senator Shehu Sani (APC, Kaduna Central) has come down heavily on President Muhammadu Buhari’s approval of $1billion for the Nigerian military.

The vocal senator questioned the strategic security logic of the decision.

The implication of this is that the opposition to President Buhari’s purported unilateral approval of a whooping $1billion military fund has assumed a bi-partisan dimension and it may after all have become unpopular.
