Chief Emmanuel Egwu a PDP chieftain and an ex-aide to the Governor of Abia state has been arrested by men of the Zone 9 police station on allegations bothering on car snatching and robbery. According to our crime correspondent Chuks Ahamefule, chief Egwu and his men allegedly snatched a car belonging to One Mr. Kingsley Atulomah CEO Vanderry Hotels, according to police investigations the vehicle was traced to Chief Egwu for which he was arrested and subsequently granted bail yesterday. Efforts to reach chief Egwu after he was granted bail by the police yesterday proved unsuccessful as his cell phones were switched off. |
