The event which had family, friends and elders in attendance - was held in a low-key fashion in Benin city, Edo state.

This Oba is better than his father oga...

The previous one was corrupted by Igbinedion and co and didn't push any development to the state nor reacted proactively to issues affecting Edo people.

This current Oba has brought progress and development to Edo in the short time he has spent by abolishing community development associations that were simply milking people dry when then want to buy land.

He has also taken steps to curb the menace of illegal migration and prostitution abroad.

The Oba has also been proactive in dealing with and settling conflicts around the state.

Simply put, this current Oba is better than previous ones. He is a progressive minded individual and he'll do more in coming years.
