Pls stop arguing with that guy, he doesn't know anything obviously. Some people will just be clapping for politicians after they've scraped their heads...

The same route I pass through all the time? That project has been a huge disaster especially from Lasu to Mile 2. It is hell on earth. APC is a huge mess I tell you. Lagos stinks under Ambode and everywhere is highly congested. They have no shame at all. Big lies all the time. 95% indeed angry
No mind am. sad I have spent almost 3 hours on the road from Iyana Oba to Festac 1st Gate a number of times in the past, so I am very familiar with that area. I could see clearly what had been done on the tracks. From Festac to Orile, you can see that the rail terminus/stations have been done, but the tracks are still nowhere near completion, especially from Iganmu to Marina end. undecided

I have said this severally, but the blind ones who are easily swayed by big cosmetic projects and won't stop to compare if the incoming funds to Lagos is commensurate with projects done almost killed me for it.

See my post : https://www.nairaland.com/4174555/ambode-not-working-think

Compare Fashola's 3rd year with Ambode and you will see the fraud Ambode is.
As at his 3rd year, Fashola had touched every single sector in Lagos, while Ambode, whose governance and impact should even be greater owing to the fact that Fashola had done quite much, has only few big road "money guzzling" projects to show for his 3 years

Realdeals:
Ambode is a failure, Fashola achievements far outshines his own.
For those quoting me, I will only give you the Ambode parable. His current achievements which you all are celebrating is likened to a science student who wrote 9 subjects for SSCE and scored A & B in Chemistry and physics but had E's in the remaining 7 subjects, abeg which University will admit such student. That exactly is the case with Ambode.
Tell me any other outstanding achievement of Ambode aside gigantic road projects, which are used to siphon money. What are his major stride in the following
* Health
* Sports
* Road maintenance
* Education
* Waste management
* Water supply
Even most of the roads constructions are under the supervision of his office and not the ministry of infrastructure.
I don't need to remind anyone that Fashola performed excellently well in all these areas mentioned. Where are the LSPWC gangs that fixed bad roads? I rest my submission.

I think you are indirectly referring to yourself with all the vituperative words mentioned below. Funny enough, people like you are more inimical to the improvement of our society relative to good Governance.

I will not delve into comparing between Gov. Ambode and his predecessor because it has always been a subjective perceptive issue and still tentatively remain so till the expiration of his first term in office.This is when we can now seat back . do a retrospective performance analysis and also compare his achievements to his predecessors one term in office.

Where you ran foul of reasoning and scored low on your argument premise was not lending critical analysis to your supporting facts. You mean you quoted all those as achievements for a Governor who has allegedly
utilized N662.588Bn (71% utiliz.) 2016, N812.998bn ( 80% utiliz.) 2017 with an unprecedented current budget of N1,046Trn (2018) .

Assume you gave all this to a company in private sector and he submit a scorecard as depicted below, will you accept this bullshit as achievements. to the most annoying fact of commissioning them with unnecessary fanfare upon and down.

Any other state in South West can be tolerated for this performance in relation to resources but for this milestones compared to resources spent in Lagos State. It is awful and a smack on the Gov Ambode Team.

A whole leader of a team with such resources going to commission a road Layby and calling DJ when serious projects are there. No wonder the overall leader came to commission a Bus- stop too.

You must have a very sick, twisted, and upside-down definition of the word failure for you to ascribe such to Ambode. undecided

That you fail to see or appreciate his efforts and strides in the state is your problem and not that of unbiased observers and Lagosians. For starters, your comparison of both individuals is grossly misplaced becase Fashola spent two terms while Ambode is yet to even complete his first.

If you truly want to know about his strides in other sectors, Google is your friend:

No, I do not understand how you can blindly defend this gargantuan lie. sad I use this route twice every week, and I know that the work done on the rail tracks or line, is not more than 50%. Anyone who tells you that the km completed, is higher than the one yet to be finished, is merely playing on your intelligence. You should pay a visit to the site, and inspect the stage of works along the entire route, before buying into their bullshit! undecided Or don't you think so?
the way ppl comment some time is just surprising as if no be lag we all day, I go to marina virtually everyday. From my research this blue line is starting from okomaiko and stop at marina, if this is true then 95% isn't a bad figure. Marina is as good as being done, once they lay 2 more pillars on the water BTW stadium segment and marina all that remain is the tracks, which they have started last week. They work there everyday though not as fast as expected but truth be told. It save to say its 90% completed, I still went to alaba last month so I saw it all

Marina is NOT as good as being done. angry Guy, please check am well, o! I go through Marina, very regularly. Only a few concrete pillars have been erected in Marina. No rail tracks have been laid, no rail terminus has been built, no power lines have been drawn. I was still there, yesterday. There have been several complaints that the pillars are too close to the bridge in Marina, and by the time tracks are laid and the train starts running, its' vibrations could affect the foundation of the existing bridge. undecided

Even the bit at Iganmu is still very much incomplete. Please, if you want to help these people, simply tell them the truth. Scope of works done on that entire rail line is not more than 50%. Only a liar would call it 90%-95%! angry

It is only when the entire rail tracks are completed, power lines drawn and installed, rail terminals built, freight car components, rolling stock, engines and coaches positioned for use, with train control systems, signaling and track maintenance equipment made available, that you can say it is 90% to 95% completed. undecided

By that time, it would remain just the signposts, ticketing terminals/equipment, furniture/fittings, platform announcement, alarm/microphone systems, fire suppression equipment, computer-based measurement and automation systems, staff recruitment and operational services. Ask anyone with experience in project management and construction.

I am a Lagosian by origin & residency. I am due to be the state governor any time soon so I won't insult my predecessors.
Let Gov Ambode just finish his term.and handover to me
