Men of the Nigeria Police arrested Senator Ovie Omo-Agege immediate after the plenary.

The lawmaker was suspended by the Senate for 90 days last week. He, however, attended the plenary today.

The Senate had accused him of leading the armed men who stormed the chamber and snatched the mace while plenary was on.

After the plenary, policemen ushered Omo-Agege from the door of the chamber into a waiting pickup van.

Such wild behaviour from a law maker and a senator should not be condoned. If he sees the senate as a jungle where wild animals display their animalistic tendencies then he should be given permanent residence in a zoo.

How did armed men entered in to Senate (The highest Law-making Chamber in Nigeria)? Were the Security Officers sleeping? I am too worried to read about this kind of unbelievable news about my country. So sad.
