What you can do for now is tummy time. When he's awake put him on his tummy to play, lie with him and play with him, this will help him achieve neck control quickly, it's at that point you can sit him up

Hey mamas, good morning. My baby now holds things to stand and walk but she does it on tip toes, like the whole of her feet never touches the surface. I have tried to watch other babies but I see that their whole feet touches the ground. I'm not trying to compare, I just want to be on top of the situation just in case. A few people I have asked said once she starts walking properly she would have no choice than to put her whole feet down. I want to know if any other person experienced a similar thing with their LO

mama lioha, sorry for the plenty questions am coming from ojodu berger pls how do I get to the Ambode health center.

Hope this is not coming late, if going on public transport. From ojodu board a bus to onipan, use the pedestrian bridge to the other side, you will see a police station, walk to where the bikers are and tell them you are going to ambode health center.
If mobile get to onipan, go through the road where the police station is, you can ask a bike man to lead you there.

2 months is too early in my opinion.
Yorubas ideally wait till 4m for girls and 5m for boys. The key is neck control.

My daughter did the same, I had to stop putting her on her walker as she outgrew it, whenever you put her, she will be on tip toe as her whole feet was not touching the ground. She stop after that. Are you still putting her in her walker? And does her feet hang or are they on the floor?. If not try putting her feet flat anytime you see it and soon she will have them firmly on the floor.

I still put her in the walker but not so much. However whether it's on the walker or she is holding something to stand, she is only standing on her toes. Her feet is on the floor but just her toes. The rest is just hanging, like normal tip toes. I have tried to firmly put her feet on the ground but she does not even agree. She just squirms and then she sits down and stops walking.

Wow. When I was thinking it is 3 months for girls and 4 months for boys. I started putting Cole to sit at 3 months + though he had good neck control way before then.

Why don't you alternate it? Instead of pap, soya beans and formulae altogether, make it pap and soya beans then later pap and formular.

We prefer finger foods so we can feed ourselves, so I pack bread and butter/ toasted bread, fried plantain/ boiled plantain and stew, biscuits, fruits ( banana, apple and plum for now), , they love swallow so yes I put semo/ amala and ogbono for them sometimes and fill their flask with August secret nutty meal. I interchange these.

Don't worry, when she sees other kids eating, she might become less selective as time go on and eat well. We are 17 months old.

Since she prefers cereals , get those covered plastics and put her cereal/ milk in diff plates and an extra plate( for her to mix up and eat in) then a small flask for warm water. Her teacher or nanny should help out I assume.

She prefer plain spag/rice/macaroni with little stew or ofe akwu anything jollof is no no or cry till we finish it. She don't like ogbono but Ora soup, fried plantain, cooked egg, don't like egg sauce. I already have the covered plastics.

What type of food flask is good?

You can let her take the rice , macaroni with little stew , then for the boiled egg, I put it as a whole with the shell intact( separately) as I noticed it gets spoilt if done otherwise. It is peeled and ate at school.

Just saw that she doesn't like egg, you can put mashed Titus (with every bone removed please) for her and if she likes bread, you can put some peanut butter in between her slices.

We use the Haers flask for food and it keeps their food hot till when evening.
