My system started doing this yesterday, dunno what happened to it. though the screen sometimes misbehaves, its misbehavior doesn't last like this. is there anything I can do to remedy this?

does it act like this immediately u turn it on or is it when it tries to load windows it does this?

connect your laptop to a TV through hdmi cable or connect it to a ddesktop monitor. see if it boots up properly on an external display. if it does, then your laptop screen has a hardware problem. and din u recently install any drivers?
