All the time. He walks on tip toes especially if barefoot. Only if he wears high shoes like sneakers or boots, then he'll have to walk flat but with sandals and Crocs, mostly tiptoes.

You can let her take the rice , macaroni with little stew , then for the boiled egg, I put it as a whole with the shell intact( separately) as I noticed it gets spoilt if done otherwise. It is peeled and ate at school.

Just saw that she doesn't like egg, you can put mashed Titus (with every bone removed please) for her and if she likes bread, you can put some peanut butter in between her slices.

We use the Haers flask for food and it keeps their food hot till when evening.

She takes egg but must be boiled but no fried egg or egg sauce.

one mama posted on preggy thread that her son sweats like that too and they found out it was something else after going to the hospital and running some tests.If your motherly instinct is not comfortable with the sweat you can ask a paediatrician.

I got an Email to resume work on Monday from an organization I had an interview with since early March .. [s][/s]already taken my mind off the Job sef [s][/s] and we have been on exclusive since, I don’t even know what to do or how to start .. I have been crèche hunting since yesterday and at the same time , being have diff bad thoughts about crèche cos of the stories I read about some wicked Nannies, it’s just doing me somehow

I dunno how to go about the food cos I have not being expressing for her , the last time I did it she didn’t take the bottle and I just got tired with trying since we are always together but now dat I have to start work on Monday , dunno how to go about the food thingy.

Gave her Aptamil creamed banana porridge earlier today , she took it , then I also bought August secrets food since she is close to 6 months ( we are 5 months 9 days already) , not started with the purée foods yet ... she eventually threw up the whole food , tried giving her again but she kept on pushing it away ( I know I have to be patient)and I have just 3 days till Monday , mamas Biko what’s the way forward here cos I have being having headache since.

PS: where can I get that Haiers flask, saw the reviews about the flask here , plus asides putting packing hot water for her , do I still need to put cold water in another flask? Sorry for my confused state, am new at this, thanks!!

Take a deep breath n b calm so u can coordinate ur thots...

First off, what location r u at? Mamas here can recommend creche for u based on location

U need to pack cold water (I do bottled water) for mixing of baby's food n for drinking too.

Try expressing tonight and give her n let's see how dt goes

U can try August Secrets food as breakfast tomorrow n watch how she reacts to that too.
I'd advice u make a lil quantity to avoid wasting and since she is still new to solids.

Check any baby shop or big supermarket for Haers flask... If u don't see it, there r other brands dt work well too

Congrats on the job.
You don't have to express for her. Just breastfeed whenever you are home with her to compensate for the lost hours since she's almost 6m and good for normal food.
Try to get her to eat a little at a time. Variety too. Have you tried pap? Plain or with milk. Some babies are just plain ibile and will refuse all the ajebutter foods

Haers flask, I think Dunasy has a store for stuff like that.

Good luck with the creche hunting. Truth is you never know what you're getting with these centres. Trust your instincts at all times sha..

You kid may be like mine that doesn't know how to suck from a straw.

I got him a real fancy, big straw water bottle but he couldn't drink from it cos he doesn't know how to suck a straw. As soon as I bought this one in the picture, he would collect it himself and drink by himself till the water finishes

You can do this

Since you're on exclusive, you need to express for your baby. Breastmilk can stay up to 6 hours in room temperature but the weather is so hot now and I don't know how this works work. But other mothers will put mouth

As for creche, we don gist the matter tire for here

Important thing is hygiene! Is it a clean place? Can you pop in without notice? if no, then run away from them!
You need a place where you can stop by at any time to see your baby!
What's the security of the place like? It's very important o

Does the creche have a sleeping area with real baby beds?
When I was searching for creche, one of the creches I came across didn't have beds for the kids! They just had little cut up foam kept on the floor! Then a child pooped and all the nannies were busy arguing on who was going to change the baby's nappies!

You need to check how many kids to a nanny? If more than 4 (which I hear is the standard), then reconsider your options

As for food, only pack what your baby likes to eat.

For me, I have a flask where I put his hot water and then I buy Eva water (the big one) (I usually refil with water from my dispenser though and then but a new one after some time)

I have a flask dedicated to cereals only! I pour the cereal and mix with milk (dry) then I put a measuring spoon inside and I tell them how many scoops to put.

Then I have another flask where I put his cooked meals
I calculate how many hours he will spend in the creche and how many times he will eat before I pick him up which is usually 4 times. So I pack 4 plates and 4 spoons and one water bottle (in your case if you will be packing expressed breastmilk, you will need multiple bottles)

I pack 4 bibs, change of clothes, 7 diapers, Vaseline
