Few days ago, Jobberman published the list of the best 100 companies to work for in Nigeria in 2018. Jobberman list is based on survey, which is a very fantastic tool to draw up such list. However, sometimes, due to the limit of information available to respondents, not much might be known about some fantastic companies.

JarusHub – Nigeria’s number one career resource website – unveils 25 fantastic companies to work for that are not on Jobberman list.

1. Banwo & Ighodalo: A top class and highly reputable law firm. 16. FIRS: Nigeria’s foremost tax revenue organisation. FIRS is of the few public organisations that people leave good jobs in the private sector to join.

17. National Hospital Abuja: One of the renowned public health organisations. The National Hospital is one of the few public hospitals with up-to-date equipment and facilities.

18. AXA Mansard: A premier financial services firm with an enviable brand in the insurance sector. AXA Mansard is one of the best places to work in the country.

19. Standard Chartered Bank: A multinational financial institution with focus on emerging markets. She provides a world class environment and top-notch training.

20. Debt Management Office: Organisation saddled with the responsibility of managing the country’s debt. The DMO is one of the “silent” government agencies that offers an excellent remuneration and staff development comparable to the private sector.

21. AMCON: Public organisation that is in charge of the recapitalisation of affected banks by providing an opportunity for the banks to sell off Non Performing Loans. AMCON is a government company that offers enviable perks and training for staff. She like most federal government owned agencies offer life-long employment.

I really don't have anything to say but want to use this opportunity to pray that may God hear the prayers of we all who are desirous of changing our present jobs with not so great companies to greater, bigger and better jobs and companies

There are many organizations and civil service jobs that pay well in this country. It is foolishness for any one to think a single survey can list them all.

But apart from payment, other factors include career progression, mentorship, trainings etc. So my advice is that while looking at the take home package of a company, consider these other factors too.

So we should go to these fantastic organisations and demand for work just because Papa Buhari told the entire world that we are very lazy? We all know that the only fantastic organisation in naija is the organisation of organised corruption. Free us rastaman.

My company was not listed but DeltaAfrik and Nestoil while the latter is hardly contestible where you put Crestech, Amazon Energy and Dovers etc... And more to say my company. #ListNotBroad

@JARUSHUB, some of them made the list last year like Mansard, Seplat, FIRS, Stanchart, Maersk & Promasidor. Dont you think there must have been some valid basis for their exclusion this year. Afterall, there are far more than 100 great places to work in Nigeria.
