I don't think it will be dropped from a helicopter grin

Not enough altitude to get the vehicle to glide and then manuver within the few seconds of flight time available, into a position for landing .

It will kiss the earth like a stone being dropped from the sky. grin

The program seems highly classified. I have tried reading about it but could only find few details which excite me.

When is she going to enter service? Approximately when?

my guess for the singing and dancing version 5-10 years.

By the way it might interest u that a project to develop unmanned version of LCA has been sanctioned.

First unmanned technologies like auto take-off and landing on LCA will be tested.

Also the unmanned version of LCA will sport flush air data system technology for stealth features. the design of the front also will be modified. the project will begin immediately after the foc for LCA Mk1 finishes.

Chinas self-developed underwater glider "Haiyan" has broken the world record of deep-sea dive by going down to a depth of 8,213 meters below sea level.

The underwater glider, carried on board the submersible mother ship Xiangyanghong 18, returned to eastern China's Qingdao City on Saturday after finishing the dive in the Mariana Trench, known as the world's deepest sea trench

Come now let's be fair. Pak...i pilots only get to do that flying Saudi jets in Saudi airspace. Would do it in Yemeni airspace if not for those cupid-hating Houthis grin grin grin.

Lest anybody gets the wrong idea: I have nothing against your western backwater neighbours, as a people. Long may they keep buying our weapons! It's their govt and shitty[ie] policies to which I strongly object.

Sir we validated , re entry in the previous test ,there is no point in wasting money , time and resources this test is mainly to check the functionality of landing gear. After reentry they free fall to earth and starts to glide in lower parts of atmosphere , Helicopters can go upto 15000 m that's enough, if we go further higher the air becomes less denser and won't produce much lift for glide . And this is purely my observation grin grin
