In 2015 the case of many Nigerians was akin to that of a transporter who complained that since they had clear evidence that their Hummer Bus was unreliable and fuel inefficient, they would therefore replace it with a Vanagon!


The Hummer Bus was proven to be unreliable and fuel inefficient and largely unfit for purpose even though it actually carried out its most basic duties.

This still stands.


The difference is that WE MUST NOT be deceived into replacing the Vanagon with a wheelbarrow with alloy wheels.

Hummer Bus is the bus commonly used for inter state travel
Vanagon is the bus commonly used as Danfo
Wheelbarrow is wheelbarrow (with alloy wheels)
