Ind.. has cleared $470 million deal for 13 BAE Mk45 127mm calibre naval main guns for under-build IN warships. Seriously half a billion dollars for 13 guns even with total cycle costs included and 50% offsets is expensive. Therefore one needs to develop ones own defence industry extensively for air land and sea domains. 1 Like

Finally DAC approves procurement of NAG Missile System (NAMIS) at the cost of 70 million dollars Initial orders 25 NAMICA and 300 NAG ATGMs A foreign system of the same type would have atleast cost 200 million dollars
