That's top security strategy to protect any number one citizen of any nation. Sure same happens to PMB. It's so easy to get a President on the road, despite been in a bullet proof car. They guide and run after the car, till it gains a particular level of speed. You have escort guide cars which the security men will hop into while on average speed.

I have trained bodyguards you need stamina 2 become 1 long breath long distance running unarmed combat good eyesight reflex action good physique and good native intelligence all together in one the distance covered by these bodyguards is very short compared to what they will cover during training and retraining sessions

If you look carefully you notice the Yellow line marking on the border separating both country..... Which implied they didn't run much to get to their side of the border.
