Numbers r not there as required but good enough to achieve air superiority within 48 hrs west and counter north ( in defensive mode ) simultaneously.

If they get 42 squadrons as required , air superiority will be in less than 6 hrs on west and even risk deep assault up north.

Have u seen the geography of the western side , it's only 700 km in depth , no where to safely retreat for maintenance refueling etc

Around 300+ LCA mk1 mk1a mk2

Rafale 36 + 110 (new tender Rafale should win) + 57 naval

FGFA 110 or so later on when it matures , direct off the shelve purchase .

Here alone u have around 500 fighters

Nos will increase later on just need to get the production complexes running full steam.

But again no guarantees , who knows what future holds

Same can be said for the western side, they have managed to hid it well from the public but those who r informed know almost all f16 r grounded for lack of spares ( to preserve the limited spare stocks incase shiiit hits the fan ), same with the mirages , only the 90 odd FC1 flying around.
