I believe Governor Dankwambo has the political will and prowess to rule this country having survived the Buhari tsunami.Let all meaning NIGERIANS Mobilize and support this special breed of our finest politician to take us to the promise land.

This is how tribalism, sectionalism and religious bigotry is being promoted..........can't we just talk about a candidate credibility and performance without mentioning his region or religious beliefs?

The south have ruled for 13 years since 1999...for fairness, the north should be in power till at least 2023

In about 7 months time, it will be time for the largest opposition party in Nigeria to select their presidential flag bearer in a primary that we all hope will be devoid of rancor.
PDP is a party we all love and hate equally. While they are guilty of so many things, its also important to note that the greatest progress Nigeria has made so far has been under them. Its therefore good for our democracy that this party should remain strong. Remember that political party and politicians are two different things.
We believe that these four people would be vying for the party ticket. Who, in the interest of democracy would you prefer to see emerge as the Presidential nominee for 2019? Who would you want to see test his popularity against Muhammad Buhari, and probably kick him out? Click like for your preferred candidate only.

Ps. Don't tell us that PDP is dead. That's childish. If that's your opinion on the matter, then you should be in the tribal section of politics, not here with sane people. Don't also tell us that PDP is a party of thieves because that is immature. There is no party of thieves, just thieving politicians and you can find them more currently in the ruling APC than in today's PDP

To be very Objective, the only candidate PDP has with nationwide popularity, good will, pedigree and know how is Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
Say whatever you like about the man but if PDP stand a chance it has to be with ATIKU. No matter how good we think Dankwambo is (i personally think he is the best candidate), but outside the north, Dankwambo is not even known, well Lamido still has some corruption case against him, Well, Makarfi is a perfect leader but politics is not always white or black. I will just advise them to go with the man ATIKU!! My one cent.

Be dreaming, On the mention of Atiku every APC member including you start shivering. In today Nigeria and her politics nobody can win Atiku in a poll based on our pattern of voting

Atiku is the best suited and prepared for the president.
An Atiku+Peter Obi Presidency will be fantastically awesome.

I'd rather have Atiku there at least he was able to establish and manage a business. Even after the fall out with OBJ, he is still relevant.

@op, I dont understand what you mean by another Jonathan but all i can tell you about this man is that he is an actionable man, corrupt free man... you can visit the state of Gombe to see how orderly the state is.
Bede2u:
Damkwambo
I believe that by withstanding the Buhari wave in 2015 and retaining his state for PDP, this one has shown himself to be a good and pupolar candidate. He also has youth going for him. However, I fear that he may be another Jonathan; indecisive.

my concern is not about who have ruled and how long he has ruled. It is about those contesting, no Southerner is showing interest. When the south was ruling, they had enough Northerners contesting against them.
Hope you remember when fayose broke the camel back and showed interest for presidency few months back go to that thread and check all those that opposed him here NL they are all from southern part go and do the profile check.

Did you heard about Orji Kalu pillar to post that Buhari must continue till eternityhuh Go back to political post here you will see what I'm.saying so the South are in for a long thing, same southern send gej packing, bro I don't know what to say again.

Surely, if he by the slightest of luck or mistake emerge winner of PDP Primary, I will campaign for him as a loyal party man putting aside every prejudice.

But what I am saying is that such victory is future impossible... it is a tall dream and an impossible feat to achieve as things stand today in PDP.

With all due respect to him though

No. Because whether you care to admit it or not, we are human beings, we are social, and the majority of us have prejudices.

You don't wish it away, you accept it and make compromises.

What exactly is wrong with splitting it with 8 yrs for the North and 8 yrs for the South? It's fairness. So everyone has a sense of belonging. We will get to that stage eventually where tribalism and religion isn't such a big deal, but we haven't yet.

The current Nigeria is heavily polarized. You want to break those bridges not fortify them.

I will go with Dankwanbo. He is the better alternative to Buhari. He has everything Buhari lacks. And I don't think Nigerian will want someone that have ruled before. Nigerians will prefer Dankwambo

If you aren't useful to yourself why don't you have yourself auctioned on eBay instead of quoting me on a forum where I'm free to air my views.

Awon ara ile ni despicable idiots. Olofo.

That's my opinion, you can eat sh1t.
It's a sh*t opinion and you should be made aware of it.

As it is not rooted in facts. How many benevolent dictators have we had in Africa?

You can't have a benevolent dictator in a heterogeneous society. It works more in a homogeneous society like Russia, China, NK, Tajikistan et cetera.

But you wouldn't know that. Because you're not normal!

Any new face that goes to power now will face the kind of challenges Jonathan faced, starting from a deliberate gang up, sponsored violence and vandalism to cripple the economy and raise security concerns

Atiku is the only force that can stabilize this country and usher in the new generation of rulers

He has already promised 70% of positions to the youth and we won't have to wait till he is elected before we know if he is lying, his cabinet members will be known before election and inauguration soon after swearing in

He is the only one talking about restructuring. Mind you, all those saying that Buhari said the same thing.
NO! Buhari never said anything personally about restructuring during campaign, all he was rambling about was fighting corruption, the rest were APC handiwork and all those promises were dismissed by Buhari when he came to power and no one could hold him responsible because he did not make any promises personally

Atiku has personally outlined his plans

Atiku has worked with youths, established and run businesses, excel in the art of diplomacy and although age is not on his side, health is very much on his side

To break the decades of chain holding this country, we don't just need a new shift, we need an old hand in tune with modern reality to usher in the new Nigeria

Again I repeat, Nigeria is too complex especially with the present structure, any new face coming in will repeat Jonathan's mistakes

Atiku is the answer
Nice contentions.

At least it justified the "fat brown envelope" they gave you.
