from the look, I think dakwanbo would be OK. he has this welcoming look I personally admire, he looks intelligent, someone that can effectively interact with people both nationally and internationally, his gentle and mature look denotes much about his ability to deliver and turn the economy around, with that friendly appearance I think he would be able to listen to the people's cry....what am I saying sef, may God help us choose a better leader. amen

AHMED MOHAMED MAKARFI... That was the first politician name I knew as a child. Maybe cos I grew up in KD. I can't say how popular he is among the south westerners, but am sure Igbos LOVE him a lot. Though the hausa/fulani muslims here don't like him cos they see him as a 'repentant muslim' since during his governorship tenure as he was very fair in his administration.
For credibility sake, AHMED MOHAMED MAKARFI is the man.
Gbam!

None of the above. You people have always shouted that you need fresh minds so Why these ones that have nothing new to offer? It will amount to breach of sincerity if after all the noise we still have only these ones to settle for.

Thx for this breakdown on the potential pdp candidates. Im not so familiar with most of them beyond their names and previous appointments held aside from Atiku. However i would like to say it is important and wud be an advantage if who ever shud emerge has a good track record in the previous appointments held.

It is no more enough to hold a post bt wat did u achieve on that post be it governor or senator etc

2nd how knowledgeable is the person on federal matters and governance because we don't want another novice totally learning on the job. Experience or ability to adapt is key.

3rdly. How sharp and fast a learner is he? We don't want cool and calm bt very dumb and clueless

4th. Capacity to lead, charisma/youthfulness and business ethos... A leader with sound work experience outside politics will be an advantage and I don't mean teachers or professors or civil service. Im talking of sound business owners or execs

5th Unifying factor... buhari has caused so much division we need sm1 who has d ability to unite us.

6th incorruptible.. we don't want a thief as president or sm1 who encourages looting.

All these will qualites will help pdp come ontop with whoever they select.

Atiku is the best suited and prepared for the president.
An Atiku+Peter Obi Presidency will be fantastically awesome.
An Atiku Donald Duke presidency would be way better that i can assure you.

Atiku is the only man who can unseat buhari because he's popular both in the Southern and Northern Nigeria. PDP should not make the mistake of bringing out any of Dakwanbo, Markarfi or Lamido. APC is praying seriously for PDP not to give atiku ticket
If atiku wanted to be president, he wouldn't v left PDP.
If PDP was not saved by those who saved it,which popular platform will he be running now?

let's wise up Nigerian youth, PDP and APC is not our options, all this BABA should go and sleep, let's form another parties strictly for the youth and those Baba can be our advices (not God fathers) ,let take action not only ranting on social media
Thats not true. Its the way to go. Until we retrace our steps back to where we got it wring, all exercise will ne in futility. The only party that wrest power from the dooms day we have is PDP. All others will only try but will be like throwing pin at a dart board. Thats the blunt truth. After we take a step back, can consider others since PDP has shown tendecies to relinquish power

These present goats wont relinquish power to a party thats not strong and grounded and since we only get to do this every 4 years, am not ready to suffer any additional 4 years

Dankwambo is d best candidate for PDP but he is not popular in the southern part of Nigeria and he is not buoyant in terms of cash that can match Apc's cash. Because of this, I think Atiku should b PDP flag bearer. He is popular both in North n South.
Yea... I think Atiku is the most viable candidate among the dudes listed above but however all them na the same pple

This shows you don't know anything about politics.

He's least popular yet he was begged by all organs of PDP to be the National Chairman to help unite the party and lead it to the right path even when he never showed a single interest.

He's not a strong candidate yet he defeated Hunkuyi backed by Buhari in 2003 Governorship and still defeated Buhari's backed ANPP and CPC candidates in Kaduna North Senate elections in 2007 and 2011 respectively despite the gang up by some members of PDP in Kaduna state.

If you don't know, Makarfi is the MOST respected leader in PDP as at today with strong and formidable structures within and outside the party in all six geopolitical zones.

Have you seen him running after "Wike and Fayose" like many people are doing? He has class... He has all his stuffs figured out!

BTW PDP loss in Kaduna state in 2015 was due to the animosity against JONATHAN, Yero and PDP as a brand... Unlike in some other states that was due to Buhari's wave (eg Katsina)
But he is not well known in d south

Any new face that goes to power now will face the kind of challenges Jonathan faced, starting from a deliberate gang up, sponsored violence and vandalism to cripple the economy and raise security concerns

Atiku is the only force that can stabilize this country and usher in the new generation of rulers

He has already promised 70% of positions to the youth and we won't have to wait till he is elected before we know if he is lying, his cabinet members will be known before election and inauguration soon after swearing in

He is the only one talking about restructuring. Mind you, all those saying that Buhari said the same thing.
NO! Buhari never said anything personally about restructuring during campaign, all he was rambling about was fighting corruption, the rest were APC handiwork and all those promises were dismissed by Buhari when he came to power and no one could hold him responsible because he did not make any promises personally

Atiku has personally outlined his plans

Atiku has worked with youths, established and run businesses, excel in the art of diplomacy and although age is not on his side, health is very much on his side

To break the decades of chain holding this country, we don't just need a new shift, we need an old hand in tune with modern reality to usher in the new Nigeria

Again I repeat, Nigeria is too complex especially with the present structure, any new face coming in will repeat Jonathan's mistakes

Atiku is the answer
So you still believe everything you wrote up there even in this 21st century you still swallow everything a politician says hook, line and sinker. I pity you
Re: 2019 Elections: Who Would Be Your Choice For The PDP Presidential Flag Bearer? by Rexology:
ATIKU is much needed now than ever.
There is no saint anywhere, what Nigeria need is a performer.
Buhari was sold as incorruptible ,today he is presiding over the most corrupt government.
Why is OBJ afraid of Atiku? Obj labelled him corrupt just to rubbish his presidential ambition.
Atiku has more stake in our economy than all these candidates including PMB. He will improve our economy.

He is a detribalize Nigerian, with his supporters cut accros tribes and religion.
He will definitely make a good president.

Power of incumbency at work nothing out of the ordinary. We all know how he became senator in 2007 because the political bigwigs in Kaduna State including the Emir of Zazzau had to persuade Dr Dalhatu Sarki Tafida, the then senator representing zone 1 to pity Ahmad Makarfi and step down for him despite the fact that it was Tafida that won, Ahmad Makarfi is a learner in politics compared to the likes of Sarki Tafida.

It's a sh*t opinion and you should be made aware of it.

As it is not rooted in facts. How many benevolent dictators have we had in Africa?

You can't have a benevolent dictator in a heterogeneous society. It works more in a homogeneous society like Russia, China, NK, Tajikistan et cetera.

But you wouldn't know that. Because you're not normal!

-Lord[/s]
I can see how normal you are. Very normal. So normal you should be running relay race stark n@ked on your street.

Whether it's a shitty opinion or not it's still my opinion. I know you don't understand that concept since you're a toddler in an adult's body.

Keep on making a fool of yourself don't let me stop you dumbass and keep your filthy opinion to yourself. I'm not interested in whatever idea your pinhead has to offer.

Ordinarily this discussion wouldn't be in the gutters right now if you'd presented your own opinion and laid off the insults but obviously you live in the gutters and the only thing your mind can spew is garbage even when you're trying to make sense.

Now fvck off and let me alone with my "stupid" OPINIONS.

What that guy says is true o. Atiku has the means and he is resoundingly popular among the northern monarchs.

Pls, sentiments aside, am not happy that he jumps from pillar to post but if the enemy of my enemy has the means to unseat my enemy, then he is my friend. Atiku has the means and if we can only give him the required support, then pdp can give a good fight. Other will ony scratch the surface but wont get the results o

Lmao. This is hilarious. See youths arguing which old man to vote as president, yet forgetting that Gowon ruled this country when he was 28 years old or there abouts.

Lazy Nigerian yoots. grin

To be very Objective, the only candidate PDP has with nationwide popularity, good will, pedigree and know how is Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
Say whatever you like about the man but if PDP stand a chance it has to be with ATIKU. No matter how good we think Dankwambo is (i personally think he is the best candidate), but outside the north, Dankwambo is not even known, well Lamido still has some corruption case against him, Well, Makarfi is a perfect leader but politics is not always white or black. I will just advise them to go with the man ATIKU!! My one cent.
Atiku is a huge gamble. Just like we did with buhari in 2015. It may either go well or be disastrous. We know their antecedence and it is a risk on hoping they hv truely learnt and changed. I won't rule out Atiku bt he will only be a last option if all else fail to meet the expected mark.

I wonder why atiku would be there someone who has played from both parties . I can be my last kobo he won't get a ticket they just want his money .

Kwankwaso that was swept out in Kano in 2003 wasn't incumbent? Adamu Muazu that was swept out in Bauchi and couldn't even win Senate election in 2007 wasn't incumbent? SAS that was defeated in 2011 Senate election wasn't incumbent? Oga you no get talk...

How can Tafida win an election and will still be asked to step down? Step down for who?

I prefer Atiku/Fayose . Not a fan of Atiku though but he is the only one that can give Apc a run for their money, and with a vice like Fayose, SW wont be a walk away for Tinubu nd Osibande
Re: 2019 Elections: Who Would Be Your Choice For The PDP Presidential Flag Bearer? by MYHUBBY: 10:29am On Apr 28, 2018
before you ask me question on that

point out what each of them have achieve in any political post

record had it that markafi left huge amount of money while exiting the Kaduna state house, and some innovation under his adminstration, if this can be verify then he has my vote

for a man like that, to clean the mess of PDP, he was given interim chairman and he bring all the stakeholders both the grievance and non grievances together one. I think such man should be bold to say is uppermost interest is Nigeria unity and not a devil like buhari

as far as my intuition is concern, anybody can win election but I believe markafi we performed as a president than those desperate politicians
