I'm afraid there is non for now to the best of my knowledge.
it's not something you would want to use for full wall painting. Just for effects and designs. So you could other the pigments from abroad and mix it with clear transparent varnish or lacquer.
It would be more costly getting the paint abroad. you could just get the pigment alone and get the varnish here.

I don't know what happened to Nigeria in this direction of developmental travel. Well, I'm determined not to travel in this retrogressive development. So for me, is "normal" ceiling and normal internal wooden doors.

It's used in developing countries in place of rebar.

It has significant benefits over steel/iron.

One of the wasteful things that we do is using steel/iron in lintels. Even ordinary wood will do for that.

Please let me know if anyone has seen this for sale in Ibadan.

This how Bambokcretes are made there us a lot of research into this topic but it can only be used for concrete works that does not support plenty loads the are less load bearing than the normal steel .
But this is the future of reinforcement of concrete works am sure of that.

You are very correct. I used wooden doors in my BQ but one of them gave me head-ache with warping that I end up throwing it away.
My carpenter did everything like putting many blocks and heavy objects on it for few days to straightened, but no luck.
So for the main Duplex, I bought Chinese/Turkey wooden doors for the internal doors except bathrooms that I used Chinese steel doors 'cos of water.

Hello My Chairman, I have been in contact with the aluminium window guy you gave me his number and we have been talking for a while now. The thing is, my mum who also manages the project we need his services for has someone who wants to do the aluminium but he is saying she should buy the materials and she would pay for his workmanship but to be honest, I don't want her to do that because she may not have the best eyes when it comes to buying quality of something she probably doesnt have so much clue about. So I was talking with her today and I told her about your person and she was asking me if he was going to use tower or foreign and I said he told me he was using tower. She told me sometimes they say all that and when you make a deposit they go to buy the foreign one or a cheaper one and use for the work. I tried to make her understand that I met him through a recommendation and that you are somewhat versed in building too. she wanted to be sure you were versed in the right kind of aluminium that was used for you by this person.

Anyway, my point is that, is Biodun trusted by you enough? I don't want an instance something or what she mentioned up there can happen to us. Although when we meet I would let him understand the antics used to make more profit and that we would not want any of that.

3) Did he use what we agreed upon? I don’t know but I think so. He’s given me no reason to doubt him.

4) He should be on my site with me in the next few months for my courtyard bungalow. He did a fantastic job on the apartment garage.

5) Nigerian artisans should be managed and cross checked, it is the nature of things. This is regardless of who introduced them.

6) Go with mums recommendation to please her.

Are the materials quoted all necessary (especially the one that states Bat top at N20k each. No idea what this is) and are the quantities correctly estimated (not deliberately inflated), and the labour charges reasonable? Thank you.

The prices is reasonable provided he give you imported materials and very thick pipe (what am seen here imported materials price, although it's not stated on the list.)
More so 1" ,4" pipe price can still be reduce by 100-200 each but others fittings can be reduced by 10-100naira .


The quantity of pipe can not be accurate from here because we don't know how far your safety tank and suckaway is to the main building.

The bath top he means (7nos) should be bath tube but you can ask him to expantiate what he means.
