This is also coming after a group, known as One Destiny Organization, ODO, told newsmen that the appointment of Mr. Festus Keyamo, SAN, as spokesperson for the Buhari Campaign Organisation, BCO, would make President Muhammadu Buhari‘s re-election bid easier in the 2019 presidential election.

The National Coordinator of ODO, Ohiri O Lewis said in a statement yesterday, in Abuja, that the appointment of Keyamo was in recognition of his integrity, commitment and dedication to the cause of President Buhari’s re-election.

He said, “It is a well deserved appointment. Nigerians know that Festus Keyamo is a committed Buharist, an ardent supporter of the policies and programs of this administration and not a frivolous person.

“He has over time shown commitment in the president’s war on corruption, he has been steadfast in helping to drive home the new culture of transparency the president wants Nigerians to embrace through his numerous media interventions and has proven beyond any iota of doubt that he is ready to give his all for the re-election project of Mr President.”

I believe. And if anyone doubts it, let him/her argue with these facts:

1. NW on lock down for PMB. It's obviously a "no go" area for PDP
2. NE - With the battle against BH being won, despite occasional strikes, the people there know that things are much more better than pre-PMB. Buhari will win at least 70% here
3. NC - the only states PMB will struggle to do very well will be Benue and Kogi. He will win convincingly in Nassarawa, Plateu and Niger states.
4. SW - PDP is living in fool's paradise to think they can have someone beat PMB/VPYO with support of Jagaban and other APC governors in SW. Even if PDP gives the VP slot to a SW man, who would that be to defeat Jagaban there? OBJ can't even win his own LG. We saw that before.
5. SS - PMB will score at least 30% in this region
6. SE - despite the noise from wailing zombies here, 200 monarchs from the region recently endorsed PMB, saying he has done more for the region than any other president in Nigeria's history. So, I expect at least 35% votes from here. Even if he doesn't get 20%, it doesn't affect him being re-elected.

The fact is that the turn-out will be less in the South in 2019 election. This adds to PMB's chances and diminishes PDP/opposition chances.

As hard as I don't want Buhari to return, it seems Keyamo is not far from the truth. With the way everybody is springing forth to contest for presidency, the easier it will be for buhari to win.

This time 4 years ago, we had started witnessing re-alignment and decamping, 3 major parties formed a solid formation against pdp. All of these I'm yet to see.

Without a united opposition against APC, there is no chance of defeating buhari.

I'm a south Westerner and can authoritatively state that Buhari has lost the votes of most of those who supported him in the last election. To many of my kinsmen, we already know who to vote against even if we don't know who to vote for yet.

And I hope you also don't expect that Buhari will win the middle belt? The middle and the south west made him win the last election, not his far north supporters. He had those northern supporters and votes when he lost in 2011.

Let's assume that you don't know, let me attempt to educate you.

1. The most peaceful countries in the world, despite not being in wars, continue to build their military arsenal to tackle any security threats.

2. If we had all the weapons we should have, perhaps BH and other security challenges would have been nipped in the bud before they became big.

3. Security weapons, especially fighter jets can't be bought the way you buy tomatoes and fish from the market. They take years to be built and supplied to the the buyers.

4. All the above are reasons some of the world powers are what they are. They don't wait for problems before they start looking for weapons.

What Festus said is the bitter truth. As a Gani Fawehinmi Chamber Alumnus, that is a critical &,radical evaluation of the situation on ground. There is a difference between wishes and reality.

The only thing that can prevent Buhari 2nd term is God.Obj & IBB advising him not to contest is to pave way for other contestants.

The vote in the North & SW alone are enough for Buhari. Moreover, Delta votes will be different from 2015. Rivers will be very different. The drama of the Rivers State returning officer witnessed in 2015 Presidential election will not be there. Having 25% in 24 states is a done deal.

No candidate can defeat him. In Oyo state, PDP is dead, Teslim & Akala moved to APC. In Lagos, with Obanikoro returning back to his old camp, only the ibos in Lagos PDP wants PDP alive.

The best is for APC to choose another presidential candidate but I wonder if it is possible.

Those insulting Festus cannot see the reality. Hypertension, heart attacks & mental disorder may affect some people as from next year.
