Mr. Okoringa Ebikimi, a Special Adviser (SA) to the Governor of Bayelsa State has been reportedly assassinated by unknown gunmen in his home town Kaiama, the headquarters of Kolokuma/ Opokuma Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

The incident occurred few minutes to 12 in the night yesterday 30th April, 2018, while he was taking fresh air at his residence In Kaiama.

An attempt by the deceased to escape from the assailants was unsuccessful as the the gunmen shot him severally till he gave up the ghost before they fled.
