Hello NL Fam, please i need opinions about the NPS, is it a viable commission? What's their entry level salary for Bsc holders, is there any merits or demerits one should know of before joining? Does the "prison" tag cause one any stigma in the society? Is it better than Civil defence? My family was offered a slot and my parents want my sister to accept it but we have no prior knowledge about the NPS commission. Please your views would be highly appreciated.

:oWhat stigma are you talking about?? My dear secure that job and if you don't want a uniform job look for a family member that will gladly accept it. Do you know how many people are looking for any job huh

The pay is better than most Ministries Al'so you have enough time to do your business on the side. Civil Defence, Prison or Fire Service are on the same salary scale. Though I'll recommend Fire Service if you can get the slot but Prison over Civil Defence. It's a Government job accept it and keep waiting for your dream job you will have all the time to do that.

PS: This is my own opinion it's not a fact.
