Focus: Why Have You forsaken Me?

WORD FOR TODAY
What you see happened to Christ Jesus is a prototype of what can happen to you. You will not but also come into various situation of life where you will be prompted to think that the Lord has forsaken you!!!

"And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?" that is, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?" (Matthew 27:46 NKJV)

No matter what happens the Lord does not forget or forsake His own. He doesn't take pleasure in our sorrows but our well being in every facet of life. However, we find ourselves in situations where it's seems as if God has forsaken us but in it actual sense He has not.

God didn't intervene when Jesus was crucified to ensure that the work of salvation is perfected. In the same way, He chose not to manifest Himself when the 3 Hebrews were thrown into the fiery furnace and when Daniel was thrown into the Lion's den in defense of God's purpose in their time.

Whatever the Lord allows that appear as evil in your life is allowed to help you even though you may not understand. The Lord is interested in what your response will be in such a time. Hence, don't go away from God and His principles because He is always with you in all situation.

+ How do you respond to various situation of life?

Prayer Point:
Lord! I worship you for who you are; help me to abide and put my trust in you in all situation in Jesus name. Amen!!!

Main Emphasis:
God does not at anytime abandon His people but uses situation of life to work out His purpose in their lives. In fact, He doesn't give up on the worst sinner!!!

No matter what happens God does forsake His people. We are created to fulfill His purpose and our lives are in His hand. He thinks about us and created us even before we came to realization of ourselves. Therefore, He chooses our origin, sex, parent, age, color and hair. Until you understand purpose you be offended about the personality of God.

You posting this means God no even remember you again. You mean someone should wait on God till nothing remains out of their life again?

I don't mean that at all. I am just saying that the "god hasn't forsaken you" stuff is nonsensical. Christians use it in all situations good or bad and I could use the same for any other god.
