Acclaimed author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has declared that Meghan should be Head of the Commonwealth, while praising her and Harry's 'modern relationship'. The Nigerian writer, who has been hailed Beyonce's favourite feminist, said the former Suits actress should be given the position when asked if 'anyone would mind' if Prince Charles succeeded the Queen in the role. She also praised Meghan, 36, and Harry, 33, for their 'very modern' and 'forward-looking' relationship, saying she found it 'heartening'. It comes as the Commonwealth Heads of Government are expected to decide if the Prince of Wales should succeed the Queen as Head of the Commonwealth at their meeting in London this week. Speaking on Channel 4 News, Chimamanda, 40, said: 'You know who I think should be it; I think Meghan Markle should be Head of the Commonwealth.' When asked whether she ever thought the royal family would marry into a mixed-race family, the author replied: 'Why not?
