A senior friend of mine wrote Further Mathematics during his SSCE and got A1.
Further Maths is taught only in SS1 in the school, he studied his way and got A1

He is right, the poster must have made a mistake adding a 'coma' on his statement. The course must have been an elective course and the dude is the only only in the dept offering that particular elective course.

There's no way a dept at futo will admit just a student and keep him. The school senate would scrap that dept.

I went to a local school in Mokola Ibadan where he hardly had basic subject teachers let alone further Maths, due to my love for Physics and Maths then, I picked a book on further Maths, studied it myself and wrote the exam with very few other guys only in the centre and got C5. That was year 2000
