If you take your time to read this article you will realize that it hammers on the fundamental issue plaguing Nigeria and Nigerians "LEADERSHIP". Truth be told we have had some of the worst leaders the world has seen in the past. Thii has changed with this current administration unfortunately and does not look like it will change anytime soon.

They keep spoiling the image of Nigerians with lying pity stories
Imagine I watched a video where a woman who lived in Lagos said and I quote "nigeria is not safe for my child, they bomb and shoot people everywhere, they don't allow them go to school because they are females"
Somebody asked where she lived and she said Lagos-ogun axis

Pls where in Lagos are they bombing houses?
Or who will pursue your daughter from school and sell her off in Lagos?

Or maybe I'm in another part of Lagos

It's not their fault, yet some will still be abroad and be answering PDP and APC diaspora.. These are the people, the same people that made you run away.. Why not lock them up in a room and kill them at once..

For instance, one Aisha, a Nigerian single mother of four kids, reportedly travelled from Philadelphia to Manhattan and then spent six hours in the bus to upstate New York and another 30 minutes by taxi to the dead end road at the U.S./Canadian border.
Almost crying, Aisha told CBC News, “Please we need a home; our children need to go to school… I left Nigeria with frustration… In Africa, they want them to go to Arabic school. At a tender age, they will give them to a man. I don’t want that to happen… I can work, I’m an African woman. If I see a job, I will do it. I want a better life for my children.”

Me: how did she get to the U.S. in the first place with those 4 kids.

nigeria i cry for you.how did we decline to this level.lets come together and leave our religious, tribal n political differences to boot out this our wicked and satanic govts or still pls peacefully lets go our separate ways.may be it will be better.the amalgamation of the regions as nigeria is not working.infact is the reason the why we are divided.what kind of govt can watch her people treated worst than animals n suffer so inhuman and still feels comfortable anytime they travel abroad to blackmail its citizens to defend their policies and failed govt.

If when america was an undeveloped and brutal country, all the Americans were looking for visas to travel out of their countries instead of trying to make it better, american and all the other developed countries would not be where it is today. One thing about Nigerians is that we only bark with no action. Most people want a readymade country but the truth is that until we stop licking our politicians asses and start taking actions Nigeria will never be great.

Nigeria is better than any European or America that will cost you 500k to go and be a begger.

If you become a begger in Nigeria you will make money than begging in America not to talk of Europe.

Many people in Nigeria are very greedy and lezy in the Brian. If you start any business in Nigeria with 500k within 1yr the Money will double but if spend it to run away to any stupid Europe after 1yr you have lost it and nothing will replace it.

Who no go no know but some mistakes will hardly be corrected. If you are in Nigeria as a Nigerian you may never know how blessed you are until run to that so-called Free money country and shame and regreat maybe your surname.

She may have cooked up stories to buttress her point. But the real question is: Is Nigeria safe for us and our kids??

Yesterday I heard my neighbour was coming back late from watching football and vigilante group beat him up mercilessly... HE DIED! He was a husband and a father, plus the wife is heavily pregnant. He died living in Nigeria. This would never happen in saner countries. Police on patrol in the states would either show you directions or even drive you home. A young woman died of cancer because there are only 3 working chemotherapy machines in the entire country, THREE!

So you’d ask yourself, If you had an opportunity to leave Nigeria and even lie to get pity for the sake of your children, would you take it or remain there??

Nigeria has never been this bad

And to think that the people still support these govt people that causes this is even more mind boggling.

This is sad
