Obscure shooters slaughtered eight people in an early morning assault in Kakangi District, Birnin Gwari Local Governement Area of Kaduna state.

As per Daily Trust journalist, the assault which happened at 4.30am on Thursday morning left eight individuals from three towns including Mashigi, Dokoru and Sabon Wuri dead.

The attackers additionally stole numerous cattles having a place with the towns and left with more than 10 cruisers.

An inhabitant of the group Alhaji Ja'afar Jibril while affirming the occurrence stated,

"Four individuals were killed in Mashigi and two every where killed in Dokoru and Sabon Wuri towns amid the assault by furnished highwaymen around 4.30am on Thursday. Today (Thursday) is our market day which was a flourishing grain showcase, the market has turned into a sad remnant of itself, individuals can't employ the street conveying cash inspired by a paranoid fear of ruffians and the main bank we have left can't keep cash in light of the fact that the desperados has essentially decimated the other leaving banks."

The representative for the Kaduna State Police Command, ASP Mukhtar Aliyu who affirmed the episode said that the police are doing its best to address the circumstance, including that versatile police have been conveyed to key areas in the territory to guarantee security is kept up
