Indeed "The 21st century is witnessing an increasing wave of youth fascinating with celebrity idolization".
A lot of youths no longer have a mind of their own. We live in a society where what the youths do, what they wear, the language they speak, where they go to, their photos and post, the people they associate with, is been altered by celebrities and celebrity lifestyle.

No wonder we live in a society that is deformed of morality, discipline & well culturedness. Whereas the society we live in, is full of moral decadence, indiscipline, social imbalance. Some of us are living in an illussionary world.

Wr have become a society of followers as opposed to leaders. It is easier for society to live through what few leaders there are vicariously than it is for them to achieve leadership themselves so they hold celebrities, politicians, billionaires, etc… in high esteem since they know in their hearts they will never achieve such stature.
