Hagar was never Abraham's wife. No verse in the Bible mentions her as such. I'm even glad that in your write up you mentioned Hagar as a bond woman (slave woman) which was what she was. She was given to Abraham by Sarah for the purpose of having a child, not to wife. No matter the amount of love and children she got from Abraham, she was never recognized by God as his wife cos she was a product of Abraham's impatience to wait on God who promised him a child. Instead of him to wait for God's time, he took a shortcut and had sex with Sarah's slave girl called Hagar, with Sarah's consent, not God's.

Genesis 16:1-2

1 Now Sarai, Abram’s wife, had borne him no children. But she had an Egyptian slave named Hagar;
2 so she said to Abram, “The Lord has kept me from having children. Go, sleep with my slave; perhaps I can build a family through her.”


But God was not part of that arrangement. That's why he later told Abraham that His covenant will be with Isaac which is the child He promised Abraham.

Genesis 17:19-22

19 Then God said, “Yes, but your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will call him Isaac.[d] I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him. 20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and will greatly increase his numbers. He will be the father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a great nation. 21 But my covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you by this time next year.” 22 When he had finished speaking with Abraham, God went up from him.

Did you see the bold part which says God's covenant with Abraham which includes the promised land will be given to Isaac?

It wasn't God's wish for Abraham to be with Hagar which he never married, that was why God told Abraham to listen to Sarah who told him to send Hagar the slave woman away cos she doesn't belong with their family and her son must never share in the inheritance of Isaac, Sarah's son.

Genesis 12:9-13

9 But Sarah saw that the son whom Hagar the Egyptian had borne to Abraham was mocking,
10 and she said to Abraham, “Get rid of that slave woman and her son, for that woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with my son Isaac.”
11 The matter distressed Abraham greatly because it concerned his son.
12 But God said to him, “Do not be so distressed about the boy and your slave woman. Listen to whatever Sarah tells you, because it is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.
13 I will make the son of the slave into a nation also, because he is your offspring.”

Did you see the bold part which says it is through Isaac that the offspring of Abraham will be reckoned with?

Now, according to you, Hagar's son Ishmael and his descendants are the Arabs of today which is a big lie. The word Arab means mixed people i.e people from different tribes and nations who have mixed with each other that they cannot even trace their origin to one man. But the Israelites were not mixed and so they could trace their origin to Abraham. That was why God prevented them from marrying from neighboring nations so that they can keep their blood pure so as to produce the Messiah.

You are now telling me that the Palestine, Jordanians, Pakistani, Saudi, Egypt and every other Arab countries are the Ishmaelites. Crap. If they are, then they are the sons of the slave woman Hagar who can never share in the inheritance of Isaac.

Your talk of descendants and singular and plural is totally wrong. If you say God saying He will give the land to the descendants of Abraham means He will give to Isaac and Ishmael, then you are wrong. It doesn't include Ishmael as seen in verses above. Below is God saying He will establish His covenant with Isaac and his descendants, not Ishmael. That's why God has been chasing out Muslims away from the Holy Land.

While I believe the Israeli forces were reckless with the Gaza causalities, no one is talking about Hamas. The primary believe of Hamas is that Israel must never exist and they are ready to do all it takes to wipe out Jews from the state of Israel. They don't believe in two-state solution unlike the PLO that are in control of the West Bank.

West Bank today is far more peaceful than Gaza because they have a more responsible leadership than the Hamas controlling Gaza. Hamas' hard-line position will never bring peace. It will only bring more suffering to the Palestinians.

As powerful as Israeli forces are, they don't feel safe with Hamas, that is the major reason for the blockade. Palestinians in Gaza should vote in a more responsible leadership.

The only way to achieve peace is for Hamas to recognize the Statehood of Israel and adopt two-state solution. I genuinely empathize with the Palestinians however, they need to be reasonable.

By the way, this statement by the Turkish president might work against Turkey's quest to integrate into the EU in the future.
