Barely one year to the expiration of Owelle Rochas Okorocha's tenure as Governor of Imo state,the foresighted leader has made true his promise of honoring and building a befitting accommodation for all former indigenous Governors who served State in the past.

The Governor while addressing journalists recently said; "...our previous leaders were unnecessarily overestimated to be very rich and the public assumed they must have acquired so much,i want state here that, it is not true. I am building brand new duplexes for our former Governors to appreciate their numerous contributions to the Great State of Imo."

How can you use tax payers funds to build houses for past governors when your people lack the basic amenities, IMO state really needs our prayers

Useless project

The money spent for the project would be enough to build a small maternity hospital or schools at any rural area of the state to reduce the rural dwellers suffering.

Some rural communities still depend on local midwifes for childbirth which often end up in maternal and child mortality.
