The Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria directed all Catholic dioceses in Nigeria to organise peaceful protest marches today against the killing of Nigerians by people suspected to be herdsmen.

Catholic dioceses across Nigeria are also expected to organise funeral masses for two priests, Rev. Fr Joseph Gor and Rev. Fr Felix Tyolaha, who were killed in Benue State by suspected herdsmen. The priests are due to be buried today and the Vice President, Pastor Yemi Osinbajo has arrived Benue for the funeral.

Here are pictures of the protests from across Nigeria.

True Christians don't protest.
Christ advised that we turn the other cheek when struck on one. He didn't say we should protest.
His disciples didn't protest for once when he was being persecuted.

Catholics should seek the Lord in truth and in spirit.
They should desist from worshipping graven images and repent from idolatry.

Only then,
Will the Lord heed their cries.

The most painful thing on earth is when a victim doesn't understand his plight.

All this "Christians and moslems have been killed" is only further expanding the propangada of the detractors that this is not a ethno-religious cleansing whereas this is clearly a ethno-religious war aided by buhari and his herdsmen to deliberately conquer the north central which still has the highest christian population in the entire north with moderate ties to the christian dominant south.

A few Moslems may fall victim due to their proximity and ill- luck, this does not deny the fact that a particular set are the supposed target
Re: Catholic Protests Against Killings By Herdsmen (Photos Across Nigeria) by ISLAMBAD:
The killing of Christians by Buhari and his fellow Islamic terrorists must stop.

I totally disagree with that inscription on that placard that little girl is holding. This is the problem I have with my Catholic brethren. We should stop trying to be politically correct always. Let's face the reality by calling a spade a spade.
We all know those that are killing Christians just to weaken them and implement their useless sharia law which I believe will never see the light of the day.
If muslins decide to kill themselves like they have been doing recently just to score a cheap political point after Donald Trump condemned the killing of Christians, its none of our business . Whether they sort themselves out or not, its their internal issue.
Christians should stop interfering in their affairs . After all, since these killings started, MURIC have never for once condemned the killing of Christians.. Of course they won't do that because they are happy behind closed doors for as long as their plans on Islamization agenda is in progress.
If Muslims kill Muslims, its their internal affairs. But the one that won't be tolerated again is the killing of Christians by Buhari and his fellow Islamic terroristss.

Can you all see the difference between the Catholic Church and tithe organizations that are known as pentecostal?

ADEBOYE has still not spoken out about the RCCG woman beheaded in Abuja till date but he's still asking for tithes.

It is quite remarkable that the protests recognizes that both CHRISTIANS ands MUSLIMS are on the receiving end of the blood letting.

It is also commendable that we are questioning the authority whose primary objective is to ensure SECURITY OF LIVES.

We are in a country where bloodletting is used to score political points by the opposition instead of charging forces together to stop the killings.

None of "them" is innocent.

Remember, GEJ is a Christian.....to topple his govt. Boko haram had to kill a lot of muslims. PMB got sympathy votes

To topple PMB, Fulani herdsmen will have to kill a lot of Christians.

Why did Bokoharam retain Leah Shaibu, the Christian girl.
They said it's because she didn't convert. The others that converted are still muslims abi ?

Stupid script they acted. Got the money from govt. still got the Christian/Muslim hatred brewing

Do you get their game here

To even score prime time point. They entered a church in Benue and killed a priest

I weep for these enclave we call a country

No other institution stands up for justice like the Catholic Church.

If it was some other denomination the GO would have said "the reason why all these is happening is because people don't believe in God anymore", like the rubbish Osinbajo said yesterday.

Good governance has very little or nothing to do with faith.
