A friend of mine has been hassling me to invest some money into Forex, but the whole thing seems like gibberish to me as I never once understood those terms of theirs. I never put my money in things I don't understand how they work. Can anyone advice if it is a good investment with minimal risk or another money drainer? I would trust this friend but he was so sweet-mouthed when he introduced me to MMM then so I am not falling for that again.

in summary forex is
high risk, high profit.
it's more or less like gambling. trying to predict changes in currencies nd then buying and selling appropriately to make gain. sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. of course it's much more complex than this but that's the simplest truth I can tell you which people encouraging you to buy their books online or try this strategy or the other won't tell you.

I am into it. It needs deep knowledge of the economies and technical tools. It's not a promising business even to the experts.
Its seemingly the most riskiest legit business but it has the tendencies to breeds overnight millionaires.

forex is no going area fpr someone who has no knowledge about how it works, I will only suggest that you should try and gather some experience and take ur time to make a findings on internet as regards how it works, so as to have a clear picture of the nature of a business you are about to undertake.
