The Mumu government of Buhari ought to have sealed this deal since 2015 but rather let it lie fallow only to wake up now that election is drawing nearer in order to score some cheap points but now this is too late. I think the strengthening of the Naira aspect and not making Nogeria a dumping ground for unnecessary Chinese goods should be applauded but the big question is, with a weak economy that still consumes more than what it produces and also with a very low output in capital projects I don't see how Nigeria will still not be a dumping ground under this crises-ridden government of mumuhary. Well, not bad still. Majority of the banned items are produced in Nigeria already. If you still want to import them, look for FX on your own and not from banks. 1 Like |

Ratello: Ranting upandown like guruguru on the fry. When the idea was first conceived in 2015, were you ever in support. The wailing song them was that PMB was trying to run our economy aground as he did as a HOS. Deal is about to be consumated, to your utter surprise, now you are fretting. Just relax my friend. Nobody will kill you for enjoying the dividends of PMB uncommon leadership. 26 Likes 1 Share |

Mutemenot: My thoughts exactly. What this means is it's China that would gain lots. |

HeyCorleone: But we would gain too considering the fact that China's products are cheap. And that includes quality products. Moreover, more Nigerians would be employed. 1 Like |
