The contents of this article is verry verry scary, it can breed hatred between the worshippers of both religions in SW.
People that know Ishaq Akintola or whoever wrote this divisive article should help us beg them not to plung SW into religion crisis because of mere political score and selfish interests.
Nobody should carry religion madness disrupt the peace we are enjoying in our region.
MURIC is just hiding under the banner of religion, it's a pure political organisation. CAN is also guilty of this since after the 2015 elections.
CAN or any Islamic organisation should stop interfering directly in political matters to avoid unnecesary suspicion as we are witnesing today.

This is what we are talking about. If you want to encourage people to vote in favour of a particular candidate, do so without using religion. I have never really liked Fayose's kind of politics anyway, but using religion to achieve a selfish goal isn't too nice. Unfortunately, some fanatics won't take time to reason on this.

That is not the bone of contention. At a point some people cried out why is that only Muslims are governors in Lagos? What MURIC raised should be addressed ASAP!

I guess this Akintola was alive back then during the Buhari/Idiagbon,Abiola/Babagana Kingibe era & in the present Buhari's government? Islamic fanatics like this are the problem of Nigeria.
He'll never be seen or heard contributing meaningfully to burning national issues.See as he look like BH terrorist. angry
And how many Christians were in Buhari's cabinet? How many are in fayose's cabinet?

Prof. Ishaq. should stop this religious stuff in the south west. We don't give a fvck about religion here. Muslims governed Lagos state for a very long time (jakande, mudashiru, tinubu, fashola) and still hold most sensitive positions in the state and nobody complained despite Christians being the larger population.

Fayose who is always attacking buhari of being biased. Fayose is really a clown, he's always playing with the intelligence of Ekiti and other of his supporters that don't know him. ..Ekiti State is just too poor, one can't found any industry there. ..The only job there is civil service job. ..

All the state’s judges under Fayose are Christians. All the fourteen (14) commissioners in the State are Christians. All the twenty six (26) permanent secretaries are Christians. Fayose only gave Muslims one Special adviser. Special adviser my foot!

He did not stop there. All the state’s 5-member boards are Christians including Only one Muslim is a board member in the whole of Ekiti. The 7-member boards of colleges of education and that of health technology are all Christians. All the sixteen (16) education secretaries are Christians while all the sixteen (16) local government caretaker chairmen are Christians except one.

You are not informed sir! Tolerance doesn't stop you from peacefully agitating for your rights. The difference is that we don't fight over religion in the West. Some people once argued that since 1999, only Muslims have been occupying governorship in Lagos and this was addressed by APC presenting Ambode. South West is home to peace loving Muslims and Christians. We don't need people like you to orientate us. The Muslims however small in Ekiti should be part of the political process. Keep your advice to yourself.

You are not correct sir! Muslims govern Lagos only three times, Jakande, Tinubu and Fashola while Christians twice Otedola and Ambode. Mudashiru was a Military Administrator and we have the likes of Akhigbe and Oyinlola. For your Information, Lagos indigenes proper are more Muslims evidence abound. Let us also discuss Ogun state that has a considerable number of Muslims and Christians. why is it that Christians govern Ogun state Five times before the first Muslim governor who is also the incumbent? You are right that we don't give a Bleep about religion in the South West but then it is not wrong for people to agitate for their right as long as it is legitimate
