i have experience such when i wen tto benin on a visit. I was hearing the zinc making noise and suddenly, a ice hit my head and my back and it was raining ice. I have to take cover from the nearby shop and i saw a massive solid ice size of egg dropping with force.

This is a common thing in Jos, sometimes only ice (hail) falls without rain.
