I'm trying to make sense of the topic but I can't even see road because everything has turned to tribal sentiments. Just imagine the force we would be if we united and held our leaders accountable, but we are more interested in ethnic squabbles. Nigerians please let's leave all these aside for now. We have a greater foe.
has it ever occured to u that we get the leadership we have because our leaders know that our diversity wont allow us unite against them? France is 80% white-french and 90% christian, Saudi Arabia is 100% Arab and 100% muslim. Do u see why the rest of the world is progressing? Nigeria has 250 ethnic groups and languages and divide into 3 between Islam, Xtian and traditional believes.

I think wat we need is to fight for division first or at least true federalism then we can hold our regional leaders accountable

I find it amusing that any Nigerian especially on this forum would act as if he has no tribal sentiment when expressing his views on ethnic issues albeit his own ethnicity or others. For someone to say that the narrator of the story is a "tribalist" is very disingenuous. Could anyone show me a story on this forum that's about any ethnicity that does not have a tribal tilt to it? I have read very many articles and threads here that touch on ethnicity and all of them have either the writer favoring his ethnic group while casting aspersions on others or blaming an ethnic group for the woes that befall the country. This is what Nigeria has become...any issue about any ethnic group is viewed with an ethnic lens. All ethnic groups are guilty of this. So, please save us the "above board" attitude and accept the fact you're as guilty as the rest if not more!

Seriously, I don't like people that play victims every single day of their life. The Hausa guy knew he wouldn't get justice around so he resorted to the army. What's more annoying is the mentioning of Boko-are-rams, herdsmen, etc but fact remains these animals kill more non-Igbos so why mention them?

And the army arrived to the scene immediately fully armed because of one Hausa fulani man.

While thousands are being killed in the north central to the extent that there's IDP camps across benue state n yet the army are still feigning ignorance on the matter.

Stop deceiving ur self.

Igbos are the only ethnic group in Nigeria that travel, settle n invest across the length n breadth of Nigeria.

Tribal sentiment belongs to Yoruba n Hausa.

They gather beat on man, you know he surely can't fight and normal human instinct of survival would dictate to any rational thinking person to resort to where he'll surely get justice. At least look at some issues with a wider lens

Imagine if all of us are using this ur prescribed method of justice.

Now forget about Hausa and Igbo, my question is why did they beat the Hausa man?

You see sometimes, these guys look for trouble first and when it turn against them, they cry foul.

...and tomorrow someone will say the Igbos hate Hausas, why won't there be hatered when there are clear cases of favoritism, people will continue to call IGBOS names but de fact remains that the Igbo man is de only man who has seen de other side of an Hausa man, how can we be one Nigeria when we see some people as friends and brothers while we see others as enemies
any Igbo man who is still supporting Buhari ,is an enemy of the Igbos and the land of the Igbos will never let that person have peace.
