Seriously, I don't like people that play victims every single day of their life. The Hausa guy knew he wouldn't get justice around so he resorted to the army. I find it amusing that any Nigerian especially on this forum would act as if he has no tribal sentiment when expressing his views on ethnic issues albeit his own ethnicity or others. For someone to say that the narrator of the story is a "tribalist" is very disingenuous. Could anyone show me a story on this forum that's about any ethnicity that does not have a tribal tilt to it? I have read very many articles and threads here that touch on ethnicity and all of them have either the writer favoring his ethnic group while casting aspersions on others or blaming an ethnic group for the woes that befall the country. This is what Nigeria has become...any issue about any ethnic group is viewed with an ethnic lens. All ethnic groups are guilty of this. So, please save us the "above board" attitude and accept the fact you're as guilty as the rest if not more!
