Stanley Okoronkwo Diagnosed With Heart Disease, Needs N10M by NaijaCelebrity(op): 11:06am On May 24, 2018

Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Stanley Okoronkwo is currently seeking fund for the treatment of his ailment.

The popular filmmaker and actor whose battle started after a heart attack in 2016 has been in an out of hospitals trying to find solution to his health battles.

In a press statement released by his fundraising team, doctors have diagnosed him with an unfolded aorta and enlarged heart, a condition that sometimes makes him to suffer periodic blackouts and shortness of breath.

Here is what the filmmaker said while explaining his situation to some actors trying to raise fund for his treatment.

“I have done the best I could. I have nothing left, and if I do not cry out, death will be very imminent for me.

I have been referred to Dr. Devanada, a consultant Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgeon in India and he is waiting for me to come for surgery there. The cost is N10m.

I am appealing to Nigerians to come to my aid so I get the required treatment urgently. These are very trying moments and I know that God will use the good people out there to touch my life.”

When you were enjoying celebrity status, you didnt call the public for help....now that your village people are on your matter, you remember social media has a branch of charity organization....

I will advice he sell one of his kidneys and use it to take care of himself or donate your brain and ear to Buharry so that your family will enjoy the proceeds.

The news is most likely to be true. Heart diseases are one of the common affliction of the populace in our environment. The trend is increasing because of.change in lifestyle.Heart diseases can be acute or chronic in onset, the end result being heart attack or heart failure. Most heart conditions are amenable to medical/surgical interventions. There has been remarkable progress in the management of heart diseases especially in the first world. Back here in Nigeria, there is still dearth of specialist care. The cost could range from $6,000-$15,000. Many of the surgical heart conditions can be managed as day cases. Outcomes are usually good. However let's not forget that the best treatment is prevention. IG, however, affliction does occur, early cardiological assessment is advised.
