edicied: The source summarized it...https://prexblog.com/nigerians-introduced-super-sim-card-and-digital-walking-stick-ncc-approved-the-innovation/ It's just the new innovation of "Digital Walking Stick" and "Super SIM card" that will enable you use one SIM to operate all the four networks in Nigeria without buying multiple SIMs or porting. Just read from the source, if you don't understand. 61 Likes |

Nice innovation. But can one use more than one network at the same time in the SIM? I use more than one SIM not because of quality reception but what the network have to offer. One for cheap calls the other for cheap data, the others incase they become cheap or for tweaks No one network have it all. 70 Likes 1 Share |

It will be nice if this is not a VoIP based technology. Developing a VoIP solution and assigning virtual numbers to the chip as well as integrating a billing app can do the same thing. Instead of relying on the network base stations for transmission, the relay service can be hosted on the cloud and same can be achieved. It will be nice to see how this can be done differently outside the VoIP platform. 6 Likes 1 Share |

No, that's not how it works. If a lady is insisting on knowing where a guy got her number from. 1. She wants to know if she's save 2. She wants to know if it's not her ex that gave you her number. Maybe you guys wanna turn her to passover 3. She wannna know if u're worth it 1 Like 1 Share |

The effort will be crippled... I want to believe the inventors have had this idea too... But Sim producers, who r normally outsource will no longer make good sales, phone sells will drop too... And they think those people will sit back and watch them in 3d....? Story. Start your dropshipping store and be the boss... You don't have to ship anything, all you do is sell, and reply orders to the original sellers and you make profit.. see how here https://www.nairaland.com/4505379/what-dropshiping-how-make-3500 3 Likes |

its a nice innovation but it won't work. it's going to crash the revenue of the network providers and I don't think they will fold their arms and allow such to happen. |

That's a fairy tale, and which network recharge works on it, expecting to hear all networks! The fact that the research is been carried out by Nigerian University means its dead on arrival. 2 Likes |

Let's hope it sees the light of the day. I'm sure they'd be successful but with the way our darling country is being ran, I'm sure they'd soon throw a clog on their wheels. |

MTN, Glo, 9Mobile and Airtel will be all out to ensure this doesn't work. I sure know God pass them. |

Seems nice. Don't think network coys will fold their arms and let this work out because it will greatly affect their revenue and you will all agree that the cost of running their coys is high most especially when they rely on diesel. So, they have genuine excuses to give to NCC to stop this from working. This might interest you. Check the link. www.nairaland.com/4519992/neat-samsung-s7-edge-4gb |
