Tiga is quite old (I heard of it in the early 90s), and it was not initially intended for power supply. It was meant for irrigation and perhaps drinking water.

Someone recently decided to retrofit it to produce a little power, so here we are.

The reservoir may actually not be able to produce the peak power rating of the turbines all year long, maybe even never.

Well, its better than nothing.

are sure you have travel through that road? that's what they have been doing on that road tile some few kilometers, whereas the rest are not even potholes but gp tank hole.

As am talking to you now its not yet completed. And for your info the work currently going on that road is Enugu state govt (PDP) intervention on federal road.

The Enugu - Onitsha express road is currently no where close to the picture you post claiming Buhari fixed it. Stop spreading falsehood! There is work going on, on just one lane and that one lane is not even up to 20% done. Those that ply that road can testify to it.

I have friends who ply that Onitsha Enugu Express way and still don't want to believe that this government is working.

You need to see the quality of the works going on in Enugu Portharcourt Express way too.

Gone are the days when we use to go from Okigwe through Mbano or Owerri to Umuahia because Okigwe to Umuahia was not motorable.

Few months ago, I left Uyo by 4:30pm and was in Enugu by 7:30pm.

Good roads are gradually coming to South East

My brother say it loud. Enugu-onitsha is back to life again. For almost 7 years, i used to go to Enugu through the old road and it takes like 3 hours from Onitsha. Today, it just about 1hour 30min to Enugu. I thank God for this administration.

I don't know what you've been smoking but I traveled to Nsukka 2 weeks ago to collect my certificate from UNN and we had to follow Old Road to Enugu because an extensive section of the Awka to Enugu road is in a mess. Some long sections of it, the road has been completely washed over by soil and turned to extensions of the bush overgrown by weeds. Also, the journey from Onitsha to Awka, very long stretches of the road are in horrible shape completely covered in red soil until you get close to Amawbia. Who exactly are you feeding these lies to?
