It is important to note here that sometimes it is not only when you notice that your phone’s battery power is depleting faster that you should conclude that the battery is weak; with that included, here are the 3 signs that your phone’s battery is definitely getting weak and you should be thinking of replacing it;

1. Quicker Battery Draining – The first obvious sign, which you will notice if the battery lifespan of your phone is near to an end , is the speed at which the battery level drops while using your phone. At the initial time, if you use to get say 4 to 6 hours of power on heavy usage of your phone, you will notice that you are now getting lower hours when your battery lifespan is weak, and depending on the lifespan depletion level, you might barely get up to an hour again of power under same condition of usage.

2. Faster battery charging to full power or full battery percentage – Another easy and common way to detect or know that your phone battery lifespan is quarter to die is that when you now plug your phone for charging, you will notice an unusual very fast way the battery charges to full power level. For example if it normally takes your phone 3 hours to get a full charge from 0% battery level to 100%, when your battery lifespan is weak, you will notice a lower charging time and it might start taking just an hour or less to get a full charge under same condition.

3. Unable to retain power mostly at lower battery level percentage eventually leading to abrupt device shutdown – now this is very important sign of detecting that your phone’s battery lifespan is coming at an end as your device will mostly be unable to retain power especially at low level battery percentage, eventually leading to abrupt device shutdown.

And to further determine that the battery is weak when this eventual shutdown occurs; try switching on the device immediately at that point, you will notice that the device will power own and still retain some battery power or it will be at the battery level percentage before the abrupt shutdown. This is a clear sign of weak battery, and at this point you should be getting ready for a replacement battery
